HIFT stands for "High Intensity Functional Training." HIFT isn't your average circuit class. It is constantly varied, meaning you’ll rarely do the same workout twice. We combine the best elements of Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics-style bodyweight movements, and high-power cardio into one cohesive program.
Functional Movements: We focus on natural patterns—pushing, pulling, squatting, and lifting—that make you stronger in and out of the gym.
Intensity on Your Terms: We push the pace to drive metabolic results, but every movement is infinitely scalable. Whether you're a beginner or an athlete, the stimulus is the same; we simply adjust the load and intensity to match your current level.
The "Blind Side" Edge: You won't be wandering the gym floor wondering what to do. Every HIFT session is led by expert coaches who provide personalized technique corrections in a high-energy, team-driven environment.
Is Our HIFT Group Training right for you?
· To get "fit for life”: We use compound movements that translate to real-world strength.
· To stop wasting time: Our sessions maximize every minute with high-output work.
· Broad physical ability: We don't just train muscles; we train stamina, power, and coordination.
· A challenge that evolves: As you get stronger, the workouts evolve with you.
Our classes at Blind Side Strength are designed for a variety of fitness levels, but they are a perfect fit if:
Walking into a new gym can be intimidating, but at Blind Side Strength, you’re never left to figure it out on your own. Every session is 100% coach-led from start to finish. Here is how we spend our hour together:
We start every class at the whiteboard. Your coach will break down the day’s programming, explain the "why" behind the movements, and discuss the intended stimulus. This is where we talk through scaling options—ensuring that whether it’s your 1st day or 1,000th day, the workout is tailored to your current ability.
We don’t just jump into the heavy stuff.
Depending on the day’s programming, we move into the "meat" of the session:
Once the clock hits zero, we don't just bolt for the door. We wrap up with a cool down to kickstart recovery and, of course, plenty of high-fives. You’ll leave feeling accomplished, tired, and ready for the next one.
We don't just throw you into the deep end. We want to get to know you, your goals, and any previous injuries or concerns you might have.
See you on the Fitness Floor!
