The Basic Training Beginner Program is our fundamentals program here at Blind Side Strength. This program is designed for individuals looking to kickstart their fitness journey with more structured guidance and support.
This program offers a balanced combination of personal training sessions and group classes to help you build a solid foundation in fitness and get you to a point where you are feeling confident and comfortable with the strength movements that are regularly implemented in our group training classes.

This speciality program package includes:

three (3), one-on-one 60-minute personal training sessions - designed to teach individuals the fundamental movements and machines that we utilize during our group classes.

+ three (3) drop-in sessions of our group training classes.​​

Basic Training Beginner Program — Session 1
Mastering the Squat
We'll kick things off by getting you familiar with the gym layout and the squat variations. You'll learn everything from bodyweight squats to using a barbell. We'll also cover other dynamic foundational movements. You'll even get to try out the Concept 2 rower!
Basic Training Beginner Program — Session 2
Pressing Forward

On your second day, we'll dive into pressing movements. You'll learn different variations of the overhead press. We'll also introduce you to kettlebell movements and help you get confident with plyometrics. Get ready to try out the ski erg too!

Basic Training Beginner Program — Session 3
The Power of the Pull
Your third and final Basic Training session will focus on pulling movements. We'll cover the fundamental deadlift, and introduce you to the more complex olympic weightlifting movements. You'll get to experience the Assault Bike and wrap up with a workout that ties everything together.
