What makes Blind Side Strength different from a regular gym?
Blind Side Strength is a "box" gym, meaning our facility is large, open, and an incredibly versatile space. It's usually not what you picture when you think of a traditional gym with rows of treadmills and elliptical machines. Instead, you'll see a lot of open floor space, designed for dynamic movements and group workouts. Inside this space you will find racks and rigs, barbells and bumper plates, and a more minimalist vibe.

Are your group classes suitable for beginners?
Yes! Our group classes are adaptable to all fitness levels. You may see movements that appear challenging, however our expert coaches will provide guidance for beginners to help meet you where you are at. We do recommend beginners start with our Basic Training Beginner Program, which is our fundamentals program.

Do I need to be in shape to start?
No, everyone starts somewhere. We encourage all levels of fitness, shapes, and sizes to experience our services.

What kind of results can I expect from your program?
Everyone will experience results, and these results vary. Many individuals find results in weight management, increases in muscle mass & bone density, improvements in cardiovascular fitness, increases in energy levels, improvements in sleep, improvements in physical literacy, improvements in self-confidence and mental wellbeing, and so much more.

How often should I come to classes?
We recommend attending 3 times per week for beginner athletes, and 3+ classes per week for advanced athletes. Strength training 3x per week is recommended by both the American Heart Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.

What if I have an injury or physical limitation?

What is a typical class like?

It's less about individual machines and more about functional movements and working out as a group. We complete a guided warm up, a skill or strength development session, and finally our Workout of the Day (WOD).
