My name is Coach Sarah! My fitness journey began on the gymnastics floor, where I spent more time walking on my hands than my feet. Fifteen years ago, a friend dragged me to a "Bring a Friend" class at a local box gym and I never left. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to testing the limits of the human body.
In 2016, I earned the title of "Fittest Female EMT" in CrossFit, and I’ve conquered over 15 Spartan races, earning my Trifecta twice. Whether it’s on the softball field or the competition floor, I believe in staying active at every stage of life.
I’ve been through my fair share of mental and physical challenges. To me, coaching is a constant reminder that we can do hard things. My "why" is simple: my heart is full whenever an athlete tells me, "I didn't give up because of you," or "Thank you for pushing me to be a better me."
I live by the words of John Bunyan: "You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you." Coaching is my way of giving back.
High-level body control and anything involving being upside down.
Weightlifting: My favorite lift is the Snatch.
Endurance: Spartan Race prep and functional stamina.
Keep coming back. CrossFit never actually gets "easier," but you will build strength and confidence every single time you walk through that door. I’ll be there to push you when you think you’re done.
