We’re bringing the heat this summer with the first-ever in-house competition at Blind Side Strength. This is your chance to step out of your comfort zone, test your fitness across three intense events, and compete alongside the community that pushes you every day. Whether your goal is to stand on the podium or just prove to yourself that you can handle the "Blind Side," this event is for you.
The Details
- Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
- Time: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (approx).
- Location: Blind Side Strength (4316 Woodland Ave. Drexel Hill)
- Divisions: Men’s & Women’s
The Format: Athletes will tackle 3 scored events testing strength, aerobic capacity, and skill. Once the dust settles, the Top 3 Men and Top 3 Women will advance to the "Championship WOD"—a final, unannounced grinder that will decide who takes home the title.
Movement Standards & Weights We believe in moving well and moving heavy. Here is a look at what to expect:
- Barbell Ladder: Complex of Deadlift + Clean + Hang Clean + Jerk. Weights climb from 115/75 lbs up to 225/155 lbs.
- The Engine: Expect rowing, running, and high-volume gymnastics. (Remember: No "ghost riding" the rowers—handle must be cradled!)
- The Skill: You'll need Pull-ups, Toes-to-Bar, and Handstand Push-Ups to reach the top.
Workout Release Schedule We’re releasing the workouts one by one leading up to game day:
- Event 1: Released 3 Weeks Out (June 6)
- Event 2: Released 2 Weeks Out (June 13)
- Event 3: Released 1 Week Out (June 20)
- Championship WOD: Revealed live on competition day.
